Hello, world. Gloria and I celebrated our Traditional Engagement on August 8th, 2015. This story was 4 years in the making. We first met through a mutual friend Gladys’s birthday celebration in March of 2011.

Little did I know that this meeting would turn into something much greater…

After months of getting to know each other, we decided to gave dating a chance and the adventures began. From Nintendo Wii visits to bowling.

From “montaineeering” to birthday celebrations

From UT graduation to UT graduation

From hero to hero

US travel, from San Fran to Shreveport to Seattle to the Great Portlandia, just to name a few

World travel, from Ibiza to Rome to Prague to Puerto Plata

In particular, thanks to Clayton, Seth, and Kendrick for all of the help at the ceremony. It wouldn’t have gone even remotely smooth without those three.

Spring 2011 to fall 2015 has been a wonderful journey, and I thank everyone that has been a part of it, especially My Love Gloria. It has been a really special journey, and I know it’s just the beginning. Upward, ever upward…

As of summer 2015, I stepped down from my full time position to become a part time contractor. It was a very risky move, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to try to make my own apps and help others make theirs (Hakoware), and it has been eating away at me for years. I felt like if I didn’t try this now, then when would I have the chance? Win, lose, or draw, I know I will gain from this time. It will be in mobile experience, getting a piece of myself back, and rebuilding relationships that have withered because of our day to day struggles and stresses.
